Welcome to Day 11 of our 17 Days in Colour and here I’d like to talk about the incredible benefits of the colour Turquoise

The healing properties of the colour turquoise, involve increasing intuition and sensitivity which is why it’s so closely connected with the 3rd eye chakra. Turquoise has the most amazing healing properties including disinfecting and cleansing open wounds. When I talk about open wounds, I’m not just referring to the physical aspect of our bodies but also the emotional aspects. For example, The pain of overcoming grief, the impact of broken relationships or the empty nest syndrome when a child leaves home. Turquoise acts as a kind of antiseptic, soothing and healing in a gentle nurturing way. For anyone going through situations of stress, wearing the colour turquoise will bring almost instant relief as it’s a fantastic peacemaker and balancer. It’s also wonderful to have around either in decorative form or accessories if you’re struggling with any kind of hormonal imbalance. Turquoise is symbolic of the sea and the way the sea reacts to the moon for example how it’s ebbs and flows. Wearing turquoise or being surrounded by turquoise gives a sense of freedom to breathe. The magickal benefits of turquois include, Alterations, intellectual and intuitive insights, technique, inventions, originality, renewal, brotherhood/sisterhood & humanism.
If you’re at a stage in life where turquoise has become your favourite colour, then you’re probably struggling with feeling closed in or cornered either at work or in your Homelife. Having a preference to turquoise as your favourite colour symbolises your need for freedom. This is a great colour to have around you.
